OzAsia Festival

17 Oct 2019 - 3 Nov 2019

OzAsia Festival is Australia’s premier international arts festival that is entirely dedicated to engagement with Asia.

Led by Artistic Director, Joseph Mitchell, OzAsia Festival presents a bold and exciting line-up of boundary-pushing contemporary arts each year, as well as the ever popular Moon Lantern Parade and Lucky Dumpling markets.

OzAsia Festival continues to play a significant role in introducing new contemporary arts from Asia to audiences in Australia. The 2018 festival presented five world premieres, ten Australian premieres, and 22 events that were exclusive to Adelaide.

“OzAsia Festival continues to lead the way as Australia’s major arts festival engaging with Asia. The program in 2018 was our most expansive and diverse program to date, and showcased the breadth of boundary-pushing contemporary arts from across Asia as well as Australia-Asia collaborations. There is something for everyone across both free and ticketed events each year.” Joseph Mitchell, Artistic Director
