OzAsia 2019 – program OUT NOW
August 8th, 2019
Great news for OzAsia fans, the 2019 festival program is now out for your perusal and features over 60 events of which 35 are exclusive to Adelaide, five are world premieres and 22 are Australian premieres.

The 13th annual OzAsia Festival will begin on 17th October and runs through to the 3rd November 2019. The festival will bring together 850 artists from over 20 countries performing dance, theatre, music as well as film, visual arts and literature – all creating an opportunity for audiences to engage with Asian culture.
The much-loved Moon Lantern Parade will return on the 19th October as well as the JLF (Jaipur Literature Festival) and the crowd-pleasing and delicious Lucky Dumpling Market.
A very light skim of this year’s programming reveals shows from Malaysia’s biggest pop star Siti Nurhaliza, choreography from Akram Khan Company, musician Nitin Sawhney, streetfighting and physical theatre from Contact Gonzo and rapper, poet and author Omar Musa. There’s so much going on that to get the ‘full picture’ you’ll need to study and plan out your days.
Unique to this year’s festival, is the Adventure Pass (3 performances for only $39 each) or, a Festival Director Pass (immerse yourself in the very best of theatre, dance and music for $168).
