Festivals Adelaide is to co-deliver a ‘Bachelor of Creative Industries with a Major in Festivals’ the first degree of its kind in Australia. The degree will see Festivals Adelaide work alongside the University of South Australia’s new School of Creative Industries.

The degree will offer a direct career pathway for students hoping to build careers in festival management and the festivals sector. At present, there is no course in Australia to equip students with the skills, problem-solving, and mindset required for a career in festival management.  As part of the three-year Bachelor of Creative Industries – Festival Management Major, students will undertake a range of study methods including initiatives, projects and direct placements within the industry.
